Most fitness programmes are designed around short-term goals like losing weight or looking better.
At FitLife Strategy, we believe the real goal is much bigger.
Strength should prepare you for life—not become your life.
Whether your ambition is hiking mountain trails, skiing with confidence, improving your golf, travelling comfortably or simply moving well every day, every workout should help you continue doing those things for decades to come.
This isn't about chasing fitness.
It's about protecting the life you want to keep living.
Staying strong and capable after 40 requires more than collecting random workouts.
Every coaching programme is built around five interconnected principles that develop strength, movement quality, resilience and long-term performance.
Together they create a practical framework for helping you stay capable—not simply fit.
Intelligent Load
Apply the right challenge at the right time to build strength safely without unnecessary fatigue, burnout or injury.
Structural Integrity
Develop balanced movement, mobility and control so strength transfers naturally into everyday life and outdoor adventures.
Functional Capacity
Develop strength that supports hiking, skiing, golf, lifting, carrying, travelling and the demands of everyday life.
Recovery & Adaptation
Real progress happens during recovery. Better sleep, recovery and stress management allow your body to rebuild stronger.
Long-Term Progression
Sustainable improvement comes from intelligent consistency—not exhausting yourself for short-term results.
The best training programme isn't the hardest. It's the one that keeps you strong enough to live the life you love.
The FitLife Strategy Framework wasn't developed in a classroom.
It was shaped through decades of competitive sport, endurance racing, strength training and evidence-based coaching.

The way I coach today has been shaped by decades of personal experience and not just certifications.
Growing up in Wales, I spent much of my younger life playing competitive rugby before completing Ironman Switzerland, running multiple marathons and discovering firsthand how strength, endurance and recovery evolve as we age.
Those experiences taught me something I now share with every client.
The goal isn't simply getting fitter. It's staying capable.
Today's coaching is built around helping people continue doing the activities they love and not simply exercising for the sake of it.
Whether your goal is skiing into your seventies, hiking mountain trails, improving your golf, travelling confidently or simply moving well every day, every program has a purpose beyond the gym.
My coaching combines the discipline of endurance sport, the practicality of functional strength training and the science of healthy ageing.
Rather than chasing fitness trends, I help adults build the strength, mobility and confidence needed for decades of active living.
Fitness should support your lifestyle. Not become your lifestyle.
A lifelong foundation in strength, resilience and teamwork.
Learning firsthand how training must evolve as the body changes.

Simple, evidence-based supplements that I recommend to support strength, recovery and healthy aging.
Supplements should never replace a healthy diet or consistent training. However, a small number of well-researched supplements can help fill nutritional gaps and support your health and fitness goals.
This page includes products I recommend based on scientific evidence, practical experience and quality. As I expand this resource, I'll also be adding equipment, clothing and recovery tools that I personally recommend to my clients.
A small, carefully chosen stack of well-researched supplements. Nothing trendy. Nothing unnecessary.

Supports meeting daily protein requirements for muscle maintenance, recovery and healthy aging.
Why I Recommend It
One of the most practical ways to ensure adequate daily protein intake, especially for adults over 40 who need more protein to maintain muscle mass.
Best For

One of the most researched supplements available, supporting strength, power and muscle preservation with age.
Why I Recommend It
Decades of research support its safety and effectiveness. Particularly valuable for adults over 40 looking to maintain strength and muscle mass.
Best For

Supports hydration, particularly during longer workouts, hiking or training in hot weather.
Why I Recommend It
Proper hydration goes beyond water. Electrolytes help maintain performance and reduce fatigue during longer or more intense activity.

Most people do not need dozens of supplements. A consistent training routine, quality sleep, adequate protein and a balanced diet will always have a greater impact than the latest supplement trend.
Supplements should support your lifestyle — not become the focus of it. The products on this page represent a short, evidence-based list that I genuinely recommend to my own clients. Nothing more.
Train consistently. Sleep well. Eat enough protein. Then, if needed, supplement wisely.
